Wedding Gowns
There is something so special about working with a bride to make her dream gown come to life!

My Custom Wedding Gown
October 2016
In 2016 I got to make my very own custom wedding gown! I fell in love with this beaded Balenciaga fabric instantly! About 80% of the time it took to make my gown was spent removing the beads on the fabric and re-beading them to look the way I wanted.
At only 5′ 2″ tall and hardly any curves, I felt it was important to create a design that gave the illusion that I was a little more curvy. The sweetheart neckline and natural waist seam did just that. My dress was exactly what I had dreamt of – I felt like a princess and was able to dance all night long!
I also made my veil – very simple with a blusher and scattered beads that match the dress.

Kaity's Wedding Gown
September 2014
When Kaity got engaged, she knew she just had to wear her mom's wedding gown. The gown was originally hand-made by Kaity's grandmother. Unfortunately, the dress was very tiny and a bit outdated so I worked with Kaity to completely re-design the gown.
After working closely with Kaity to design a gown perfect for her taste and wedding day, I completely took apart her mom's dress. I saved all of the lace, scalloped trim and buttons from the original dress.
Kaity's dress was the perfect combination of a family heirloom and a custom design, she looked gorgeous!

Annmarie's Wedding Gown
September 2013
Annmarie loved the idea of wearing her mom's wedding gown and it fit her perfectly! She wasn't in love with the sleeves and collar from the 80's gown so she requested that we make it strapless.
After the sleeves were removed, I converted the bodice into a strapless corset and used the lace trim from the original gown to create a subtle sweetheart neckline.
The original gown had a bow on the back but I replaced it with a navy satin bow to match the colors of Annmarie's wedding.
Annmarie looked stunning!!
